[:1]So, on MMO Champion there is a DK that has soloed Yogg-Saron in Uldar. So i started on my quest to solo everything i can. Started with classic instances (cakewalk) and now moving to classic raids, then outland normal/heroic then raids, etc. Have 2 feral forms, dps and tank. Was wondering what everyone here in the forums has solo'ed. Reading what other classes has done sounds like we should be able to solo much of the same since we have a heal everytime we crit. If you have any info that you could share, please post as well. Thanks and happy hunting!!!
MC is all cake, BWD is impossible to get past the first boss, AQ20 is cake, AQ40 I can't beat Vem/Kri/Yauj because of the constant stuns/sleep/knockback/healing
Most of Kara is easy, couldn't down Mg or Gruul... haven't tried much more than that.
DK Blood healing is MILES ahead of bear healing.
I've only solod heroic 80 instances and even they were tough when fighting 3+ mobs... since osnap heal has a CD.. it can be a pain.
DK can simply spam deathstrike + vampiric + their rng larva + sack pet
Certain instances/raids require multiple people just because of the fight mechanics.
My boyfriend and I have been duoing old raids for fun, brought in other friends when we needed it.
AQ40 is impossible to kill vem & company alone, and same for the twin emps. AQ20 ayamiss is tough as melee, you get sacrificed too much and she's airborne for the first quarter of the fight. Bwl takes two for the first fight, mc i haven't done since vanilla, does it still take 7 people with the water to douse the symbols?
Karazhan, you have to get lucky on chess, he cheats. :P Mag is easy, Gruul is easy, but the council before him takes at least three people. Serpentshrine is easy up to Vashj, her mechanic takes 3, more is better. We had two melee two ranged to take her out, the water elementals just spawn too fast to manage alone.
Going to try tk, bt, hyjal, sunwell next. Lol
I'm surprised that DK tanks haven't solo'd themselves into a nerfing, yet.
I remember when bears were soloing and two manning Ony and that ended in a nerf.
Ok, so maybe this should be a 2 man raids discussion since some mechanics cant be done alone. What would be your best partner? A hybrid like a pally, a demon warlock with pet?
For the best partner? Maybe a hunter or demo lock, so you have one strong melee and one strong ranged. I've been doing it feral druid, warrior. Lol. Occasionally bringing along a spriest, hunter, and mage friend.
Two melee on ayamiss was funny. Warrior's Throw and feral using Moonfire, anyone?
